Bajano Bonsai here. Here is a little background information about me:
John 3:16
I am a U.S. Army war veteran and have been practicing martial arts for 31 years.
Primarily, I am a writer, a self-published children’s book author, and an artist specializing in pixel art, chibi, cartoon, environment, and map styles. Back in 2007, I was a Pivot Stickfigure and stop-motion animator. I also worked as a freelance graphic designer until AI impacted my commissions, as well as a front-end web designer using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Additionally, I have experience as a map and level designer, creating personal projects and content for:
During the lockdown, I picked up GDScript in the Godot Engine and found it to be the easiest programming language to learn. That eventually led me to discover GDevelop, a visual scripting engine I will be using to release future non-HTML games.
AI Disclaimer: I use AI as a tool to help code games when I am not using visual scripting. At 47 years old, I do not have the time and patience to relearn a full programming language. Designing and storytelling come naturally to me, and they are what I love doing most. I come up with all the ideas within my games.
Gaming Interests: When I am not creating, I mostly play isometric shooters, action/adventure RPGs, side-scrolling beat 'em ups, sandbox level builders and retro games going all the way back to Atari.
Anyway, that is a bit about my background.
